10 Fall Color Palettes to Use for Your Wedding Invitations
Hi friends! I got so much great feedback on my 10 Summer Color Palettes post that I thought I’d do a few color palettes for Fall! Especially because it’s my favorite season. The humidity has faded (if you’re not from the South or haven’t experienced the southern humidity, let me just say…bless your heart!) and I can finally pull out my jeans and boots again. I also love that cozy feeling of wrapping up in a blanket next to the fire pit on the patio! Why not translate that cozy feeling to your wedding invitations? One of the best ways to do that is through paper colors.
Here are 10 of my favorite fall color palettes and how they could translate to your invitations!

Color Palette 1: Blues & Greens
Ideas for the invitation suite:
Olive green outer envelope with white calligraphy
Sky blue invitation card flat printed with darker, French blue ink
Deep French blue RSVP envelope printed with white ink
Cobblestone/Timberwolf gray RSVP card flat printed with deep French blue ink
Design elements: a custom crest illustrated with your favorite fall activities, watercolor florals, an envelope liner with a full floral pattern incorporating each color
Color Palette #2: Cozy Blanket
Ideas for the invitation suite:
Scarlet outer envelope with a white address label wrap
Dusty blue invitation card with copper foil
Paper bag RSVP envelope with white ink printing
Marina blue RSVP card with copper foil
Design elements: guest addresses printed on labels that wrap around to the back of the main envelope, leaf line drawings placed throughout the suite

Color Palette #3: Deep Wood Tones
Ideas for the invitation suite:
Moss green outer envelope with gold foil return address & gold calligraphy
Invitation card: the paper color could be a harvest brown color, or we could incorporate blocks of this color on a white card
Slate gray RSVP envelope with gold foil printing
Light oak RSVP card with white ink printing
Design elements: this would be a great color palette to bring in a wood grain paper as a backer to the invitation card!
Color Palette #4: Fresh Egg Tones
Ideas for the invitation suite:
Currant red outer envelope with champagne gold calligraphy
Invitation card: ivory color printed on a linen paper for texture, text in currant red
Burnt orange RSVP envelope printed with white ink
RSVP card: Linen paper printed in the rain color & white ink
Design elements: simple tree illustrations coming from the bottom of each card, belly band foil pressed with champagne gold foil

Color Palette #8: Ears of Corn
Ideas for the invitation suite:
Mustard outer envelope with white ink printing
Cranberry invitation card with white ink or gold foil printing
Gold foil printed RSVP envelopes in a merlot color
Cobblestone RSVP cards with white ink printing
Design elements and other recommendations: another way this color palette could be achieved is with a pocket sealed with a wax seal or a belly band. Use a merlot pocket and each insert is a different color.
Color Palette #9: Apple Orchard Tones
Ideas for the invitation suite:
Crimson red main envelope with copper calligraphy & a copper foil stamped return address
Chardonnay invitation card letterpress printed with crimson ink
Forest green RSVP envelope with copper foil stamped return address
Sage RSVP card letterpress printed with forest green ink
Design elements and other recommendations: tie the whole suite together with a belly band that has a copper foil pressed apple tree in the center.
Color Palette #10: Shades of Purple & Mauve
Ideas for the invitation suite:
