I highly recommend booking 5-6 months in advance of when you want to send out your Save the Dates or invitations, or as soon as you decide you'd like to work with me! This helps me keep the design process seamless and stress-free for you.
How far in advance should I reach out?
Production time depends on your print method. For digital printing, the process can take up to 10 days (I usually schedule 2 weeks just to be safe), depending on the complexity of your suite. Letterpress printing can take up to 5 weeks. Assembly time depends on the number of cards in your suite and the embellishments we've chosen to include, but I usually schedule 2 days for Save the Date assembly and 4 days for invitation suites.
How long does production + assembly take?
I put together a full timeline for you when we start working together! In general, Save the Dates should be mailed 8-9 months in advance of your wedding date. Invitations should be mailed 7-9 weeks prior to your wedding date. (Don't forget - when you book custom design services, I take care of the mailing for you!)
When do we mail our wedding stationery?
Of course! I always have my Emily Post book right next to me at my desk, so ask me all the etiquette questions! I'm happy to provide wording options based on your ceremony venue, who is hosting, the formality of your wedding, etc.
Can you help with wording + etiquette?
I have perfected the art of working with out-of-state couples. For custom clients, I'm happy to provide a complimentary sample pack so you can see and feel the paper in person! For pre-designed and semi-custom clients, please order a sample pack through my shop.
i'm not located near you. How can I see your designs in person?
Yes! For couples who truly want a hands-off, white glove experience, I'm happy to have all of your mail-in RSVPs sent to me. I will keep it organized in a spreadsheet for you, and after we finish day-of stationery, I'll mail your RSVP cards to you along with your keepsakes and photographer's packet.
